Halfway reflection week 8

1) I have learned a lot about being bold in the face of adversity. Pretty much every assignment has been hard, and the skill I've learned to be necessary is that you must dare to ask awkward questions.
2) I feel like during the free money excersize I felt so awkward that I thought about skipping the assignment. I was able to persevere by reminding myself that many people will have to do similar tasks that are just as uncomfortable.
3) I think that the traits I want to encourage people in is to start to ask more tough questions before the class begins, to anticipate being pushed, and to use other people in the class and their ideas to your advantage.

  1. Hey William! So great to hear your thoughts about this class, I found myself agreeing with a lot of your points. I've definitely skipped an assignment because I felt too awkward talking to strangers and video recording the experience. The free money assignment was actually one of my favorites because it was so different and out of the box. Using other people in the class and collaborating on ideas is a great tip because some times I'm just not feeling creative. If you want to hear my thoughts on this class you can check out my sick picture of jack black that is incorporated into the post: http://rmathisonent3003.blogspot.com/2016/02/half-way-reflection_4.html

  2. Hi William,
I enjoyed reading your reflection. I really struggled with the free money assignment as well. If it wasn't for my husband encouraging me to finish the assignment, I probably wouldn't have. I felt so uncomfortable and almost rejected because of the response from people. I enjoyed reading your tips. I think it's really important to take people's advice and input when they comment on your blog. Check out my post: http://rachelquispe.blogspot.com/2016/02/half-way-reflection.html
