Free Money

I will ask some individuals as they walk by while I eat dinner and I will ask some people in a coffee shop.
I will approach people at random, which should give me a better view of the general market.
I think the best way to start the conversation is to be direct. There's a chance people will stop if you just offer free money.
My plan is to just follow through however they respond. I think it will be hard to say no to free money.
I think I will give away at least 3 dollars.
My predictions ended up being correct, that on the whole people were relatively willing to accept free money. They thought it was strange and they didn't understand why, but they weren't so unwilling that they didn't take the money.

    I feel like this came off as more of a bad pick-up line than providing value to a customer. The girls in the video seemed like they were being set up for a bait-and-switch and didn’t want anything to do with it, which I guess is a business lesson in itself. People are going to question “FREE” if they don’t have any reasoning behind why it is free.

    I agree with Shane, it kind of seemed like you were hitting on these girls rather than providing value. The girls seemed uncomfortable and confused. However, I can relate to this because people feel awkward on camera, especially when a stranger comes up to them offering free money. Maybe you should've provided a reason why you were handing out free money. Good post, though!     William,
    It seems like you could definitely learn a lot from your experience here in this assignment. I totally get how hard this was considering how awkward the encounter is, after all it is not very often that someone ever offers you free money. Overall i think it was a very good post, and although people don't trust a stranger giving out money it was fun to watch your videos and see how different the encounters were from mine.
